The Novi Fire Department is currently accepting applications for Auxiliary Fire Fighters. To be eligible, applicants must be 18 years old, have a valid Michigan Driver License and safe driving record, possess Michigan Fire Fighter I &II certifications, Michigan EMT license, Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations Certification, ability to pass the CPAT test, NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800, and pass an intensive background screening. This part time position responds to alarms or requests for service, acts in emergencies such as storms, medical emergencies, extinguishing fires and performs service work as directed. You will work under the supervision of the Director of EMS/Fire Operations or designated supervisor.

Compensation: $22.07 per hour and benefit package.

Conditional Employment Requirement: Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon passing the Candidate Physical Abilities Test (CPAT), CPAT passed within the last year will be accepted. In addition, selected candidates must successfully complete a thorough background investigation, psychological exam, and physical exam including drug screen.
