The Novi Fire Department is currently accepting applications for Paid-on-Call Fire Fighters. To be eligible, applicants must have a High School Diploma, must be 18 years old, must live within forty miles of city limits, and must have no criminal record and a good driving record. Michigan Fire Fighter I &II and Basic EMT are preferred, however, all individuals meeting the minimum qualifications as described above will receive required training. Paid-on-Call Fire Fighters provide coverage of nights and weekends. This part time position responds to alarms or requests for service, acts in emergencies such as storms, medical emergencies, extinguishing fires and performs service work as directed. You will work under the supervision of the Director of EMS/Fire Operations or designated supervisor.
Compensation: All equipment and uniforms are provided along with a good wage and benefit package.

Conditional Employment Requirement: Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon passing the Candidate Physical Abilities Test (CPAT), CPAT passed within the last year will be accepted.
