The City of Novi, Ml (est. population of 60,000 located in desirable Oakland County, SE Michigan) seeks highly qualified candidates for the position of Recreation Supervisor- Cultural Arts. This team-oriented administrative supervisory position is responsible for leading all essential functions related to cultural arts programming and planning.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervision of recreation and art enrichment programs (such as dance, music, theater and art), displays and community events, serving as liaison to the Cultural Arts Advisory Board, identifying, applying for and administering grants, and leading programming of Villa Bar Art Park and artist-in-residency program
• Planning, supervision and marketing of services, recruitment of sponsorships, developing program budgets and maintaining records and reports

Qualifications:

In order to be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of experience in recreation program leadership, cultural art leadership or related field
